Mystery Leaked! Adelaide Estonians now tell all!

There has been a slow but steadily increasing whisper of an event deep in the cobwebs of the Adelaide Estonian community that we have been trying to keep very quiet. It has not been advertised in the social pages of local Newspapers or been advertised at major Estonian festivals or community gatherings.  The Adelaide Estonian club has quietly tried to organise an event for the people without high powered politics. News of this just has quietly spread via Facebook pages, emails and a careful whisper amongst friends, family and lost souls of the Adelaide community. Now the secret has been leaked and to avoid assumptions, within these pages you will see the facts!

Esto Pub Night’s are held at the Adelaide Estonian Hall or more commonly known as Eesti Maja at 200 Jeffcott St in North Adelaide. A few members of the social committee along with the great characters of the Folkdancing Group Vikerkaar dawned on the fact that the amazing retro styled bar in the club rooms near the very central part of Adelaide, would be an ideal place to relax after a busy week. So a complicated shuffle of all their schedules was made. This event was an opportunity to support the hall and see an evolution in other local Estonians and their friends in making a return to Jeffcott Street. It was not long until the venue was renamed “Kalev on Jeffcott” and the Esto Pub Night concept was born.
